How do I connect and use Google Calendar for appointments, bookings and checking what's on in Green Weka?
Green Weka connects with your Google Calendar so you can keep your diary up to date without typing. Any date and time mentioned in a call or email shows up with a Google Calendar button, one tap and the event is added straight to your calendar with all the details. You can also ask the assistant to check what's on, add new events, move or cancel bookings, and find appointments by name or location. Your morning briefing includes what's left today and what's on tomorrow, so you always know what's coming up.
To connect Google Calendar, open Active Connections on your Green Weka dashboard and choose Google Calendar from the Connect New list. You'll be taken to Google to log in and approve access. This lets Green Weka read your events and create, move or delete them for you. Your password stays with Google and only your calendar is accessed.
Once connected, any event found in a call or email will have a Google Calendar button. Tap it and the event is created instantly in your calendar, with your usual reminder. No double-ups, each event is only added once.
You can use your voice or chat assistant to:
If you have both Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar connected, a plain "what's on" question reads both. When you create, move or cancel an event without naming which calendar, the assistant will ask you to pick one the first time.
Your notetaker (for video meetings) uses the Google Calendar connection to find meetings to join. For more, see the video meetings help topic.
