Setting up your profile
How do I set or update my business description, location, timezone, email summaries or call audio settings?
What your profile does
Your Green Weka profile holds the basics about you and your business. This includes your business description, timezone and location. These details help the system work better for you. For example, weather updates match your area and summaries fit your line of work.
You also control two important settings here: whether you get summary emails after each call, and whether call audio is kept or just transcribed. You can update these anytime.
How to set up or change your profile
To set up or update your profile, tap your initials in the top-right corner. This opens your profile settings.
- Business description: Enter a short, clear description of what you do (for example, "real estate agency" or "physiotherapy clinic"). Be specific, as this helps with summaries and action items.
- Timezone: Pick your local timezone so reminders, summaries and weather updates are correct.
- Location: Enter your main work location. This helps with local weather and job info. You only need to set this once. The weather feature works without needing to give the app permission to access your device's location.
- Email summaries toggle: Decide if you want a summary email after every call. Turn this on if you like getting a tidy summary in your inbox, or off if you’d rather just check in the app.
- Keep call audio toggle: Choose if you want to keep audio recordings of your calls. With this on, you can play back calls. With it off, only the transcript is saved, no audio is kept, but calls are still transcribed and summarised.
Always remember to save your changes before leaving the settings. You can come back and update any of these settings whenever you need.
Tips
- Be specific with your business description. It helps the system tag and summarise your calls and emails more accurately.
- If you want to keep things tidy in your inbox, try turning off email summaries and use the app to check call details instead.
- If you’re worried about privacy, turn off call audio. You’ll still get a full transcript, but no audio will be stored.
- Setting your location once means you don’t have to give the app permission to access your device’s location every time.
If you get stuck or something doesn’t look right, email [email protected] and the team will help you out.
Good to know
- You can only set one location at a time.
- If you turn off call audio, you can’t play back calls, only transcripts are kept.
- Email summaries are either on or off for all calls; you can’t pick per call.
Try asking your assistant: “How do I update my business description?” · “Where do I set my timezone?” · “Can I turn off call audio recordings?”
