Using Green Weka overseas, and international call rates

Can I use Green Weka overseas, and how are international calls charged?

What it does

Green Weka works anywhere in the world, as long as you have WiFi or mobile data. You can make and receive calls, use your voice assistant, and access your dashboard just like you do at home. Your usual mobile number stays the same, so people can reach you as normal, wherever you are.

How call pricing works

Green Weka is not a mobile provider and does not sell SIM cards or roaming packs. The Green Weka dialer uses the internet for calls, so the price depends only on the country you are calling and where your business number is based, not where you are physically located.

If you use your phone's normal dialer instead of the Green Weka dialer, Green Weka does not capture the call and does not charge you anything. Any charges for mobile data or roaming while you are overseas come from your own mobile provider, not from Green Weka.

Emergency calls

For emergencies, like one one one in New Zealand or triple zero in Australia, always use your phone's normal dialer. The Green Weka dialer cannot be used for emergency services.

Tips for using Green Weka overseas

Make sure you have a good WiFi or mobile data connection for clear calls. Keep an eye on your mobile data usage, as your telco may charge for data or roaming while you are overseas. Incoming calls keep working as usual, no extra steps needed. Outgoing calls to New Zealand, Australia, and other supported countries are charged at the rates listed above, no matter where you are. For the latest rates and supported destinations, check the Green Weka website.

What you can't do

Green Weka does not send or capture text messages. Only calls, voicemails, emails, chats, and in-person conversations are included.

Good to know

Try asking your assistant: “Can I use Green Weka while I’m overseas?” · “How much does it cost to call New Zealand from another country?” · “Are incoming calls free when I’m travelling?”
