What it does

With Green Weka, you can make a phone call just by speaking to the voice assistant. Say something like "call John Smith" or "dial ABC Plumbing" and the assistant will find the number, whether it’s in your contacts or a business listing. The assistant always reads back the name or number and asks you to confirm before connecting the call, so you know exactly who you’re ringing.

Calls made this way always go through the Green Weka dialer. That means every call is captured, transcribed, and summarised for you, just like any other Green Weka call. Outgoing calls are charged at the normal Green Weka dialer rates, which depend on where your business number is; the pricing topic has the details. Calls between Green Weka users are always free. Incoming calls are always captured and included at no extra cost.

Voice calling works in the Green Weka mobile app on both iPhone and Android. You can also start a call from the desktop, but the call itself will be placed through your phone’s app. Flock users can only call other Green Weka users this way; calling outside numbers by voice is not available on Flock.

The assistant never guesses at numbers, it always checks your contacts or looks up the business before calling. If it can’t find the right number, it will let you know and won’t place the call.

For emergencies, like calling 111, 000, or 911, always use your phone’s normal dialer. The assistant will not place emergency calls and will tell you to use your phone directly.

How to use it

1. Open the Green Weka app on your phone and connect to the voice assistant.

2. Wait for the agent to greet you and let you know it’s ready.

3. Say who you want to call, for example, "call John Smith" or "ring Smith Electrical".

4. The assistant will find the number, read it back to you, and ask if you want to go ahead.

5. Say yes to confirm, and the call will be placed through the Green Weka dialer.

You can call anyone in your contacts, or ask for a business by name. If the number isn’t saved, the assistant will try to look it up for you.
